My drum tech Adam checks my electronic set up pre-show. I was using a @roland_vdrums Octapad (original edition) with an Akai sampler (S1000?). The barrel to the left of the kit is my industrial fan. We were still in a period of very hot stage lights back then. Although there is a rack of four early ‘varilite’ in the foreground. Top left in the picture is a tray of pyrotechnics for ‘Live And Let Die’. Each blast propelled me forward on my stool and tanned the back of my neck
My spare snare is located at the back of the riser. Same as my main snare – @nobleandcooley 5 x 14” single ply Classic. Pic by me using Leica M6.
