Two videos have been created to promote “The World Tonight“, the second single (in the UK) from the “Flaming Pie” album. The first one was directed by Geoff Wonfor, who had previously directed the “Beatles Anthology” movie in 2015.

The shooting was made in February 1997, in Paul McCartney’s studio at Hog Hill Mill and in the town of Hastings, Sussex. The video was finalized on April 18, 1997, and premiered during the VH-1 TV program “McCartney’s Town Hall Meeting“, broadcast on May 17, 1997.

The 1st promotional video for “Young Boy”, also directed by Geoff Wonfor, was shot in the same locations, around the same time.

The 2nd promotional video for “In The World Tonight” was filmed in June 1997.

The Beatles Diary Volume 2: After The Break-Up 1970-2001

"An updated edition of the best-seller. The story of what happened to the band members, their families and friends after the 1970 break-up is brought right up to date. A fascinating and meticulous piece of Beatles scholarship."

We owe a lot to Keith Badman for the creation of those pages, but you really have to buy this book to get all the details - a day to day chronology of what happened to the four Beatles after the break-up and how their stories intertwined together!
