I was there! First time I saw Paul live, in a very small setting. He jammed with the band, and he had a lot of fun with the audience, introducing the members of his backing band with fake names. Then the broadcast started and the show's host asked Paul to introduce the members of the band. Paul once again jokingly called Linda Gertrude, but then introduced her as his wife Linda. He called Robbie Tosh McIntryre, before telling his real name, he adressed Hamish Stuart in a heavy Scottish accent, and then introduced himself as Wolfgang. Paul then sang "How many people" playing electric piano. Then there was a short interview (about 3 or 4 minutes) before they played "My brave face", And although the band were playing live before, the performances for the broadcasted songs were mimed, Afterwards I got two singles signed by Paul and Linda. Once in a lifetime experience, but not the only time I saw Paul live. I saw him in concert 20 times after that.
