This full spread, double-sided drawing made in McCartney’s distinguished and delicate penmanship features a hotel beach illustration. Complete with tan couples, families, and comical beach bums, this humorous work does what McCartney made a career out of: making you smile. The work is dated 1958, and on the back side features early working lyrics to McCartney’s iconic song “Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da”. McCartney has also signed the back three times with his extremely early signature “JP McCartney” standing for James Paul McCartney. McCartney writes, “Da Da (Lyric Writer), Dum Di, Da Da, Da Da” which would be the earliest known working handwritten lyrics for any Beatles song. McCartney also writes three poems titled “Dear Sir” and “Oops! So Sorry”. The back also features self-portraits done by McCartney. All in all, this grail is as good as it gets in terms of McCartney memorabilia, and will take the breath away from even the most seasoned Beatles collector.

Offered here is a one-of-a-kind Paul McCartney piece of memorabilia. This full spread, double-sided multi-signed drawing made in McCartney’s distinguished and delicate penmanship at the age of 16 (shortly after joining John Lennon to play with the Quarrymen) features several Military Figures, while the reverse features an impressive Electric Guitar set on some sort of stage with a microphone and piano.

The work is dated 1958 and is signed a whopping seven times with his extremely early signature “JP McCartney” standing for James Paul McCartney. He even signed it the full James Paul McCartney, which is one of the only known examples of him doing this! We cannot stress how rare this item is, it is truly a one-of-a-kind piece of Beatles memorabilia.

Offered here is an original black-and-white drawing by Beatles member Paul McCartney of what appears to be a German soldier dressed in uniform. The illustration, mostly a side bust drawing, includes the German word “Achtung” emanating from the soldier’s mouth, which translates to “Attention” or “Watch Out” in English. McCartney drew the illustration on the reverse side of a passenger transport page that dates to the 1950s.

Paul McCartney apparently likes to doodle. Presented in this lot is a page upon which McCartney drew in pencil the faces of his friends. At the top of the drawing, he wrote “Rockk!!!” and just above the drawing of Lennon, McCartney added the initials: C.C.O., M.M. and C.C.O. McCartney drew the illustration on the reverse side of a directory page of local schools in England that dates to 1956.
