About

From Beatles March 1963 Royal Hall Harrogate Early Concert Poster (UK – | Lot #89301 | Heritage AuctionsBeatles March 1963 Royal Hall Harrogate Early Concert Poster (UK – 1963). A very rare original concert poster for a Beatles performance at the Royal Hall in Harrogate, England on Friday 8 March, 1963. Advertised as “Dancing for Teens and Twenties with the Recording Stars of Please Please Me” This is a poster from just when Beatlemania begins! Bold green font printed on white stock. This concert was put on by promoter Derek Arnold, and featured opening bands Barry Corbett & his Mustangs, Chinchillas and the Apaches, with the show lasting from 8:00 pm until 1:00 am. Very rare to see an early poster in this condition. Also the owner has added 6 photo reprints of the Fabs at the event and live on stage. Plus, lets go one more – a photo of the hall where this historic event took place. Measurements 18″ x 28″. Poster is in Very Good condition, with some minor yellowing around outer edges. There is some yellowing with minor tears on back top due to the poster being glued to another piece of poster board to make it rigid. The owner has removed this piece and did a great job.
