Interview
From January 29 to 31, 1972, Paul and Linda McCartney were in New York. On January 30, Paul was interviewed by KHJ Radio and reacted to the events happening in Ireland, what would be called the Bloody Sunday. The interview had to be edited prior to the broadcast, due to Paul’s strong language.
Those events led him to write “Give Ireland Back To The Irish“, his first political song.
