As a kid I always used to like nature. I lived on the outskirts of Liverpool,” Paul remembered. “For us kids, two miles down the road you could come into countryside, it was Lancashire rather than Liverpool. It was actually a village called Hale, which is a very pretty little village with thatched roofs, it was a real little paradise. And there were millions of woods around us, there was the Dam Woods, there was this place called the Chinese Farm where we always used to go, this place called Dungeon Lane. So, there was all these great romantic places for kids.
