On this day, from 7 pm to 3:30 am, The Beatles started the recording of “Everybody’s Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey” and rehearsed an unnumbered number of takes. The tape used to record this session was reused to record the following day’s session, but part of the rehearsal was preserved on the last 3 minutes of the reel and was released on the “The Beatles (2018)” reissue.
