About
I thought it was going to be this quick album. That it was going to be three weeks at Park Gate [in Sussex] and then two weeks at AIR London mixing. But it just went on and on, and then Montserrat came into it, and we were just constantly recording stuff. Of course, in Paul’s situation, he could call anyone or go anywhere. It just grew and grew and grew, and we had all these tracks, and there was obviously the stuff in Montserrat, but it wasn’t done like Tug of War first and then Pipes of Peace. All these tracks came together.
