Paul McCartney apparently took a break from the “Flaming Pie” sessions, to continue the work with Dave Stewart, from Eurythmics, on the track “Whole Life“, started in May – this time in Stewart’s own studio, The Church, in North London. The work from those sessions would remain unreleased until the release of a rough mix on the 2020 Flaming Pie Archive Collection.
“Whole Life” would be re-recorded in 2003, still with Dave Steward, and released on the “One Year On 46664” charity album.
