The crashing guitar chord that distinguished that master version is already in place, but the bridge, later plugged by a piano played by George Martin, was filled here by a guitar solo. The Beatles recognised that Take 1 was never going to be the best take, hence the laughter as the recording began to dissolve, but it captures the essence of the productive yet fun sessions that were typical of this period.
