“Movin’ and Groovin’” is an instrumental rock song by Duane Eddy, released in 1958 as a single. It was written by Duane Eddy and Lee Hazlewood, a producer and songwriter known for his work with Eddy and later with Nancy Sinatra.
According to Mark Lewisohn in “The Complete Beatles Chronicle“, The Beatles – first as The Quarrymen –performed “Movin’ And Groovin’” regularly between 1959 and 1960.
A July 1960 recording of “Movin’ and Groovin’” by The Beatles circulates on bootlegs.
