Good morning,
I'm writing a children's book about a summer in my childhood in the 1950s and wondered if I would be allowed to use lyrics from "My Old Man's A Dustman" and "Does Your Chewing Gum Lose It's Flavour On the bedpost Over Night"?
I was born in Scotland, raised in Canada and in our home we sang these songs all the time.
I'm asking for permission to allow the children in the book to use the lyrics?
