Last updated on May 3, 2026

The Beatles, every week on Luxembourg!

THE BEATLES will be heard each week on record in a new series of 15-minute programmes starting on Radio Luxembourg at 8.45 p.m. on Sunday, January 3. The records will be introduced by Chris Denning.

Two more new shows on Luxembourg are “Ready Steady Radio” and “Kids Like Us.”

“Ready Steady Radio” is introduced by famous “RSG” television personality Keith Fordyce, who will be assisted by girl DJ, Deanna Shenderey. The programmes will go out on Sundays at 9.30 p.m., and this week’s show — pre-recorded at London’s Marquee Club — includes The Honeycombs, Danny Williams, The Shouts, Millie and The Rockin’ Berries.

Deanna Shenderey will also introduce the new series, “Kids Like Us” on Sunday at 9 p.m., when youngsters throughout Britain will be interviewed for their views on the pop scene. Records will also be played. This week’s session takes place at the Locarno Ballroom, Birmingham.
