Man breaks into Paul McCartney’s London home

On this day, 20-year-old Brett Solaries trespassed into Paul McCartney’s London home on Cavendish Avenue. He entered the garden and broke a window, but was disturbed and fled into the street. He was later arrested. At the time, Paul and Linda McCartney were staying at their farm in Scotland.

A MYSTERY man dressed all in white with an orange cloak was disturbed while breaking into Beatle Paul McCartney’s home in Cavendish Avenue, St. John’s Wood today. He fled into the street. Detectives later questioned a man.

BEATLE’S PANE BROKEN

A WINDOW was broken at Beatle Paul McCartney’s London home in Cavendish-avenue, St. John’s Wood, early today. Police went to outbuildings of a nearby house after reports that a man might be hiding there.

Later a man was helping police inquiries. The McCartneys are on holiday.

Beatle break: man charged

A man will appear at Marylebone court today after a window of Beatle Paul McCartney’s London home was broken yesterday.

Brett Sochries (21), of no fixed address, has been charged with being in the garden of McCartney’s Cavendish Avenue, St. John’s Wood, home, for an unlawful purpose.

The McCartney’s are on holiday.

Man in Beatle’s garden remanded

A young man charged with being found in the enclosed garden of Beatle Paul McCartney’s house in Cavendish Avenue, St John’s Wood, London, for an unlawful purpose, was remanded in custody until September 8 when he appeared at Marylebone Court yesterday.

He was Brett Solaries, aged 20, of no fixed address.

Det. Sgt. Bernard Gent objected to bail.

The McCartneys are now on holiday in Scotland.
