John Lennon signs The Beatles’ dissolution papers

Last updated on December 30, 2024

Today (December 29th) is exactly 50 years ago in 1974, when John’s personal lawyer, Harold Seider and another Beatles’ lawyer came down to Disney World for John to sign the Beatles’ Dissolution Papers. We were on our Christmas holiday with Julian Lennon and also Roulette Record’s Morris Levy and his son Adam. John coaxed me into taking a couple of photographs of his signing the papers. He was the last signature to be inked. We were staying at the Polynesian Hotel. Many have speculated which room…I will tell you, we were not on the main floor and not opposite an exit door and no pool outside our room.
