On April 24th 1978, thanks to a recommendation by Denny Laine, I auditioned for Wings, along with drummer Steve Holley. Happily, we both ‘fit the suit’ and within a few weeks, we were recording and rehearsing with the band. A life-changing day!

We owe a lot to Keith Badman for the creation of those pages, but you really have to buy this book to get all the details - a day to day chronology of what happened to the four Beatles after the break-up and how their stories intertwined together!
