Holidays in Jamaica
January 1995
About
Early January, Paul McCartney and family were on holidays in Jamaica. Paul took this opportunity to write three songs which would be released on his 1997 album “Flaming Pie“. Those were “The Song We Were Singing“, “Souvenir” and “Little Willow“.
“Little Willow” was a tribute to Maureen Cox, the first wife of Ringo Starr, who passed away days before those holidays, on December 30, 1994.
