In May 2016, it was unofficially disclosed that Paul McCartney would have a role in the upcoming Disney film “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales“, starring his friend Johnny Depp. But since then, no news had leaked about this role – central to the plot of the film, or just a came appearance.
On this day, Paul McCartney tweeted the following character poster of himself, dressed as a pirate. This message was quickly retweeted by the official Disney & film-related accounts, therefore officially confirming his participation to the cast.
