Once again collectors of Paul McCartney’s records are having to dig deep into their pockets. “Spies Like Us”, in addition to being released in 7” and 12” formats (see last month’s issue for full details), has now been issued on picture disc pressings in both sizes. The 12” picture disc (12RP 6118) was released on December 2; the 7” picture disc — cut to shape – followed seven days later (RP 6118). And having stated last month that the cut-to-shape picture disc of “We All Stand Together”, released in 1984, would not be re-activated this time around, EMI changed their mind and issued it on November 25, in addition to the standard black vinyl version.
