The Beatles back together again? It could happen, according to Paul McCartney.

He commented in New York that the financial dispute between him and the other three Beatles will be decided this month. The three year legal entanglement has effectively stopped him working with the other three although he recently contributed to the “Ringo” album.

We have broken up as a band, but I’d like to see us work together on a loose basis – and I think we will,” he said.

This confirms rumours in the music business that relations between all four former Beatles have improved greatly over the past few months. John Lennon told MM’s Chris Charlesworth in Los Angeles: “Nobody would mind doing some work together again“.
