About his next touring plans:
Paul McCartney: I’m going to Japan next, In November. So I kind of got some touring booked for the new album. But I think I’ll come to Germany, Europe, UK – I haven’t been to UK either in a little while – but it might be good to come next year. I’d like it.
About being influenced by the Beatles:
Paul McCartney: Even if I want to escape the influence of the Beatles, it’s impossible because that’s where I learned everything. And so I don’t really think about it. I just write a song and record it. And sometimes, maybe those too sound like they could have been Beatles tracks. But that’s not a bad thing for me, you know. I think the Beatles made some pretty good records.
