I remember thinking I could do this more professionally, and thinking maybe I ought to just use this as a demo album. Maybe I ought to go and rerecord it. But it’s a funny decision that, because you can sometimes go and do that, [and] you can lose a lot of the feeling by taking it in and trying to do it all very sophisticated and properly.
