The day before, November 28, 1967, The Beatles recorded and mixed their fifth fan club Christmas record, including the song “Christmas Time (Is Here Again)” and speech recording and sketches.
On this day, from 2:30 to 5:30 pm, the various pieces were edited together. Once the edit was complete, a copy of the mono master was made onto a 7½ inches-per-second tape. The reel version was then sent to Lyntone Records, who pressed the fan club flexi-disc.
