This was another day of overdubbing spent at Capitol Studios on tracks for the “Kisses On The Bottom” album, during which musician Ira Nepus added trombone to two songs.

While at Capitol Studios, Paul McCartney also met with Martin O’Donnell to work on their common project to compose the soundtrack of the videogame “Destiny“.
I met [Paul] at Capitol Records when he was recording there, and we had the room to ourselves. I had a piano there, so I could show him the stuff we were doing and he showed me the stuff he thought would be interesting.
Marty O’Donnell – from an interview with DIY Magazine, January 7, 2016
I got to hear an early mix of Kisses on the Bottom which was still being recorded. We were alone in Studio A. I showed him what I was working on and also played him recordings of material he had sent me over the summer – music he’d recorded in his home studio for use in Destiny. That was when he told me he wanted to collaborate on Music of the Spheres.
