About
On this day, from 2:30 pm to 11 pm, work continued on “You Never Give Me Your Money“.
From 2:30 pm to 6 pm, in Studio Three, more overdubs were added onto take 30. Paul McCartney double-tracked his lead vocals during the second verse (on track one) and added tubular bells (on track four) during the instrumental section that closes the song.
From 6 pm to 11 pm, in the control room of Studio Two, the engineering team worked on mixing the song in stereo. Six attempts were done.
“You Never Give Me Your Money” would receive more overdubs on July 30.
