About

On this day, Paul McCartney and Wings started the recording of “Mary Had A Little Lamb“, which would be released as their second non-album single. Not much is known about the recording and mixing of the track.

Paul and Linda’s daughters, Heather and Mary, participated in the la-la-la-la chorus.

[The session] was musically interesting, we had a lot of fun during the recording and in the coda!

I suggested we put bongos through a wah-wah pedal. Paul just said, ‘Oh, OK’, and Glyn was fine about it, so we went ahead and did it, with me operating the pedal by hand in the control room
