About
At the version start of the “Tug Of War” album (and therefore of the “Tug Of War” song), there is the sound of people grunting as part of a real tug of war – a popular sporting event since ancient times. This sound has been recorded on that day, during the National Indoor Tug Of War Championships in Huddersfield, by Eddie Klein, McCartney’s personal sound engineer.
