“Secret Life of a Party Girl” is a song written during the sessions for NEW, recorded with producer Mark Ronson. The song was considered for the tracklist of NEW, but has finally remained unreleased (officially and unofficially).

When “NEW” was initially released, Amazon briefly had the Japanese import version of the album which contained that song. I considered purchasing it…..until I listened to a shortened sample version of “Secret Life Of A Party Girl.” It sounded unfinished, a throw-away, a song I didn’t think I needed or wanted. IMO it didn’t match the quality of all of the other songs on the album. […]
