Indica Gallery was a counterculture art gallery located in Mason’s Yard, off Duke Street, St James’s, London. It operated from 1965 to 1967 in the basement of the Indica Bookshop. The gallery was co-owned by John Dunbar, Peter Asher, and Barry Miles, and was supported by Paul McCartney. In November 1966, Indica hosted a show of Yoko Ono’s work at the gallery, which led to Ono meeting John Lennon.
