Tuesday, March 30th saw continued filming at Twickenham while The Beatles also made an evening trip to London for a recording session at Abbey Road Studios. The day began with studio work on Help!, but that evening proved less productive in the recording studios, as the band gathered to attempt new material but found themselves unable to capture a satisfactory take. They later returned to work on overdubs for an existing track, though the session ultimately yielded no usable results for the film’s soundtrack.
