On Monday, 12 April 1965, the Beatles returned to Twickenham Film Studios for the fourteenth day of Help! production. The crew filmed a pivotal scene supposedly set within Buckingham Palace, capturing the four Beatles running along a corridor while triggered into slow-motion by Professor Foot’s Relativity Cadenza, a fictional scientific device central to the film’s comic conceit. Victor Spinetti, playing the eccentric Professor Foot, orchestrated this surreal sequence that blended comedy with the band’s growing comfort on camera.
