On this day, the company Adagrose Limited, registered in February 1969, changed its name to McCartney Productions Limited. It would later evolve into MPL Communications, one of the world’s largest privately-owned music publishers.
The first project for McCartney Productions Ltd – the acquisition of the film rights for Rupert the Bear – would be announced in April 1970.
