Mary McCartney publishes “Feeding Creativity”

Last updated on November 27, 2023

On November 1, 2023, Mary McCartney, the daughter of Paul McCartney, released her latest cookbook titled “Feeding Creativity.” In this unique work, she blends her two passions: photography and cooking. The book showcases her talent in preparing delightful dishes for her famous friends and family, while also capturing these moments through her photographic lens. Featured within its pages is a notable mention of Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, who are seen sharing a plate of creamy green pasta.

I hear you recently cooked what you call a creamy green pasta. For sir Paul and Ringo. What are they like when they get together? Is it just like story after story?

Well with the cook book, it was sort of… They don’t live in the same city. Ringo lives in California, dad’s in
England. So I interviewed Ringo for the Abbey Road documentary I directed, and dad was in town. So I was like “right next Tuesday come over, I’m making lunch” and Ringo famously is allergic to onions and garlic. So as a food obsessed person, I’m like “what do you like, what do you not like” and I love family style, so I made the big pasta dish. But as you’re saying when they get together, it’s just like brothers coming back together, it’s just like they have their own language.
