What happened for Paul in 2023

2023 marked the 50th anniversary of the albums “Red Rose Speedway” and “Band On The Run“. In April, a limited half-speed mastered vinyl of “Red Rose Speedway” was issued (similar to what had been done to celebrate “McCartney”, “RAM” and “Wild Life” at 50). […]

In June, was released “1964: Eyes of the Storm”, a book of photographs taken by Paul McCartney between the end of 1963 and the beginning of 1964 when Beatlemania erupted in the UK and after the band’s first visit to the USA.

Here are what to expect from Paul McCartney in 2023 :

• High in the Clouds released on Netflix
  • See Paul’s “High In The Clouds” to be Adapted by Netflix and Gaumont
  • From What’s on Netflix (whats-on-netflix.com), November 2, 2022: “Production on the movie reportedly took place between August 2018 and May 2022. According to our sources, the movie is set to release in the summer of 2023 with a July 3rd, 2023 release date currently eyed.“
• It’s a Wonderful Life musical premiered – See Paul McCartney writes his first musical – “It’s A Wonderful Life”
• Should we expect another release in the Archive Collection series? The long rumoured “London Town” / “Back To The Egg” reissues would close the re-release of all Wings records.
• “Red Rose Speedway” and “Band On The Run” re-released on vinyl with half-speed mastering
• More touring? There are rumours of Europe and/or South America.
• A new album? See Session with Andrew Watt (April 2021)
