Timeline

Some of the songs worked on during this session were first released on the "Rewind Forward" EP.

Some of the songs from this session also appear on:

Paul McCartney wrote the song “Feeling The Sunlight” and gave it to Ringo Starr for his 2023 EP, “Rewind Forward.” Paul also produced the track and recorded most of the instruments at his Hog Hill Studio. He then sent the track to Ringo, who added drums, vocals, and a few other overdubs.

I have to ask about “Feeling The Sunlight” because Paul wrote that one.

Yeah well, I was FaceTime him – we FaceTime each other like twice a month, or if he’s in town, we hang, if I’m in London, we hang. And I said “well, I’m doing do an EP, have you got any song? Write me a song!” And he said okay, and then he sent me this one, the Sunshine song. And he’s all over it, which is great, and when he did send the work track, he’d actually done the drums, so we had to take them off. So I did the drums and the vocals and it was fun.
