This single was planned to be released on January 14, 1972, as the first Wings 7″. It contained an edit of “Love Is Strange” lasting 4:07 on the A-side (the album version lasts 4:50), and “I Am Your Singer” on the B-side.
It was finally cancelled and “Give Ireland Back To The Irish” was issued instead.
According to Discogs’ Top 100 Most Expensive Records: United Kingdom, a while label copy of this single was sold for $5,624.99 on April 8, 2018.
