I went to this concert. Aberystwyth & Penparcau Youth Club organised a trip to see the Beatles in Rhyl in 1963.
They opened up with "Some other guy" a Big Three song and finished with "Twist & shout. I stood at the front of the stage below Lennon who was sweating profusely!
In the break my friend the late Royston Evans and I went out for a cigarette. Two girls were sitting in The Beatles white Comma van. They opened the window and said do you like the band and come in for a ciggy with us, which is what we did. They were Maureen Starkey and Cynthia Lennon! Great memories!
