About
The backing track of “Oh! Darling” had been recorded on April 20, 1969, and overdubs had been added on April 26. On this day, from 2:30 pm to 7 pm, three attempts at creating a stereo mix for this track were made.
Those mixes would remain unused, as Paul McCartney would re-record his lead vocals a number of times in July 1969.
