On this day, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, a rough mono mix of “Two Of Us” (recorded on January 31, 1969) was made to cut an acetate disc, to be given by Paul McCartney to Apple-signed American group, Mortimer.
Mortimer would record the song late April 1969, but the recording would only be released… in 2017!
