From The couple Linda and Paul McCartney in 20 vintage pictures | Vogue Paris – Throwback to 1972… Paul McCartney, and his wife Linda in their neighborhood, St. Johns Wood, where they used to reside. When the weather was nice enough, Paul and Linda would cycle to Abbey Road recording studios in north London, where they polished off their new single and worked on their album. Paul and Linda, whose band Wings recorded regularly at North London studios, used conventional transportation methods, believing that by cycling to work, they would keep in shape.
