In late November 1965, The Beatles rehearsed for their upcoming UK tour, which was set to begin on December 3 in Glasgow. The rehearsals took place at the Donmar rehearsal theatre in London, where they had previously practised on October 12, 1963, ahead of their appearance on “Sunday Night at the London Palladium.”
On November 20, 1965, photographer Robert Whitaker, who was The Beatles’ hired photographer between 1964 and 1966, photographed the group during these rehearsals.
They held their final practice session on December 1 at Neil Aspinall’s home before driving north to Glasgow for the tour’s opening night.
