I think the other person he is talking (also infamous) to is “Wilfrid Schulz”

“‘Mach-ing schau’ at Hamburg’s Top Ten club in the spring of 1961, captured by photo-journalist Gerd Mingram.

It’s been widely reported that when The Beatles played at the German seaport’s music venues, their audiences included pimps, prostitutes, drunken sailors and local gangsters. These images bring that scene to life.

The middle-aged guy singing onstage with John, Paul, George, Stu and Pete in the top photo was Walter Sprenger. Already convicted 15 times for grievous bodily harm, he was remembered by Tony Sheridan as “a butcher, a hard-punching man with arms like thighs.”

In another related photo (below) it is noted that same figure is Wilfrid Schulz. Intersting that these guys are included in the gatefold, but not Stuart Sutcliffe (?)( also pictured down below playing bass) nor Pete Best (?) who were part of these early days indeed. I assume these questionable Hamburg guys may have been instrumental to The Beatles early career or in some story/lyrics?

I did some research too. I think these are the Hamburg Gangsters: Walter Sprenger and Wilfrid Schulz (Top Ten Club 1961). These local two frequented the Club often and Sprenger often joins the band on stage to sing with them. Schulz was known as der Pate von St. Pauli (Hamburg) ruling the underworld in these early days of Beatles history.

These photos where made by German photographer Gerd Mingram AKA “Germin”: he was active from the 1920s till the 1970s. In the 1980s Paul bought the rights to these photos and therefore we see them on the collage of the gatefold of The Boys From Dungeon Lane.
