On this day, according to “The Beatles Diary Volume 1: The Beatles Years” by Barry Miles, Paul McCartney went to see his brother Michael perform with his group The Scaffold at the Granada, East Ham. They appeared on the same bill as Manfred Mann and the Yardbirds. Paul also attended the party held after the concert.
