In August 2022, a remixed version of “A Friend Like You,” a track from Brian Wilson’s 2004 album “Gettin’ In Over My Head” featuring Paul McCartney on vocals and acoustic guitar, was published on Brian Wilson’s official YouTube channel. The remix was created by Mark Linett. Four years later, in 2026, Linett returned to the song and produced another new remix.
