About

This new recording of “The Family Way” love theme as a classical suite for guitar and flute was given the approval of Paul McCartney and George Martin. It was recorded in February 1994 by Carl Aubut, a classical guitarist from Quebec, and the Claudel String Quartet.

The CD was filled out with three companion pieces, unrelated to “The Family Way“.

Michel Laverdière acted as executive producer and met with Paul McCartney and George Martin for exclusive interviews.

Many thanks to Paul McCartney for his generosity in receiving us and George Martin who, despite a very busy schedule, gave us a wonderful interview at Abbey Road Studios; and at last but not least, innumerable thanks to Alan Crowder and Geoff Baker at MPL Communications Ltd.
