JOHN RONAYNE, who has died aged aged 77, was an outstanding violinist, initially in Ireland and subsequently in London. He toured Russia with the London Philharmonic and was leader of the RTÉ Symphony Orchestra and the Bavarian Radio Orchestra. John Ronayne played the violin on The Beatles’ “All You Need Is Love” in 1967.
