On this day, Paul McCartney visited the Stephen Talkhouse, a small club in the Hamptons, which holds less than 300 people. He joined the scene to sing “I Saw Her Standing There” and a cover of Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World” with Grammy-winning producer Andrew Watt, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith, and session guitarist and Saturday Night Live band member G.E. Smith and a full horn section.
