In December 2023, “Band On The Run” celebrated its 50th anniversary. In February 2024, to commemorate this milestone, the album was re-edited in various formats, including a half-speed mastered LP, and a double LP with rough mixes of all the tracks.

In May 2024, the documentary “Let It Be” by The Beatles, originally released in 1970 and seldom viewed since, was reissued at last. The restoration was carried out by Peter Jackson and his team, who also produced the “Get Back” documentary from the same footage in 2021. The restored “Let It Be” was available on the Disney+ streaming service.

In June 2024, another 50th anniversary release, the soundtrack of the 1974 unreleased Wings documentary “One Hand Clapping” was released. While available over the years via bootlegs, the soundtrack was remixed in great quality and featured music not available via bootlegs (and also omitted tracks released on bootlegs.) The documentary itself got a cinema release in September 2024.

From October to December, Paul took his “Got Back” tour through South America in Europe.

In November, to mark the 60th anniversary of The Beatles’ arrival in the US, seven of The Beatles’ US albums, first released between 1964 and 1965, were reissued in mono on a new vinyl box set, and a new documentary “Beatles ’64,” directed by David Tedeschi and produced by Martin Scorsese, was released on Disney+ streaming platform.
