On July 24, 1968, Pattie Harrison, along with her sister Jenny Boyd, inaugurated an antique store in London. The shop, named “Juniper,” was visited by Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Yoko Ono, George Harrison, and Ivan Vaughan for this inaugural day.
Jenny and I took a stall in the antiques market in the King’s Road, and specialized in art nouveau. We called it Juniper – because of ‘Jennifer Juniper’ – and ran it for about a year. Jenny looked after the stall and I did the buying. I drove all over the country finding objects d’art, including a set of Fabergé menu holders, paintings, and knickknacks of the period. […] Our stall was next door to an antiquarian bookseller. We didn’t make much money because we didn’t charge enough. I was always so pleased when someone liked what I had bought that I would almost give it away.

Jenny’s Juniper!
Jenny Boyd, younger sister of Pattie, has taken charge of Pattie’s recently opened stall in the Chelsea Antique Market, King’s Road. The stall has been officially named “JUNIPER ”.
Meanwhile Pattie has been very active in connection with the launching of the stall by making purchases of antiques. She has spent much of her time over the past few weeks travelling around the country picking up suitable stocks of antiques for sale at “JUNIPER”. Incidentally Pattie has favoured another new change of hairstyle and her head is now a marvellous mass of curly ringlets.
